Dive bar with a big heart. Flying solo on a city visit, I was blown away by how brilliant Howl Bar was. Staff that are proud to work there, patrons that are proud to create the welcoming and amazing vibes. Dancing, drinking and endless punky soundtracks. Played a bunch of b sides for me, including the mighty Michelle Gun elephant and they pour a mighty fine pint O Guinness. Should be a stop on any punk/metal night out in this city!!

Bunch of old metal heads and new alike go there. Place is a bit busted up but good atmosphere. Highly recommend. Not a place you would take your kids though. Definitely an 18 establishment.

Great Rock Bar in the center of town. Mainly playing the alternative end of the metal scale but some more mainstream bangers in the mix. Happily doesn't feel the need to blast the music to the point you can't speak like many Rock bars do. Also manages to run a nice cask ale where others rely on kegs. Great place to spend an evening (open until 5am if you don't want the evening to end!)

If you want a place that's fun and friendly then You need to go to howl, the staff are amazing the atmosphere is fun friendly vibe, drinks are good price and music is awesome. I always enjoy my night out in howl. I would recommend that you pop in and check it out.

Great little bar, decided to pay a visit before I see Alice Cooper at the first direct arena. A must visit for those that are into the likes of rock music. Will hopefully pay another visit again in the not so distant future
